Mohamed Mohsen

Mohamed is a highly motivated and accomplished pianist and educator with a rich background in performance and teaching.

His musical journey began at the High Institute of Conservatoire in Cairo in 1993, where he graduated with an excellent grade in 2007.

Mohamed furthered his studies by earning a Master’s degree in Piano from the Faculty of Music Education in 2022 and is currently pursuing a PhD in Music Philosophy.

His career has been marked by significant achievements and international recognition. Mohamed secured a third place in Turkey as both a member and soloist of the Cairo Conservatoire Children Choir at an international festival. He has also performed numerous recitals at prestigious venues, including the Russian Cultural Centre, the Opera House (small hall), Elgomhoureya Theater, Sayed Darweesh Theater in Alexandria, Sayed Darweesh Hall in the Academy of Arts, the Library of Alexandria, the Citadel Festival in Cairo, and Ewart Hall at the American University.

In addition to his performance career Mohamed began his teaching journey by preparing students for Trinity College London examinations, which sparked his dedication to education.
He expanded his teaching experience abroad in Kuwait and, upon returning to Egypt, taught in Maadi. From 2014 to 2023, he served as the music team leader at Misr American College School.

Driven by his passion for teaching and a desire to share his extensive experience, Mohamed has recently realized a long-held dream by founding Tempo Music Academy. Through this new venture, he is committed to delivering high-quality music education and nurturing the next generation of talented musicians.
